The predecessor of the company, Qingdao Construction Company Iron Factory, was established on Huayang Road in Qingdao. Afterwards, the factory names were successively changed to "Qingdao Building Materials Company Iron Factory", "Qingdao Building Hardware Factory", and "Qingdao Power Machinery Factory", with products including building hardware, automotive parts, and pan camel machines.

The factory was renamed as "Qingdao Steam Turbine Factory", marking the beginning of the production of power plant steam turbines. The factory site has been relocated from Huayang Road to Siliu South Road, and the factory has transformed from a manual workshop to mechanized production.

The N3-24 condensing quick installation steam turbine won the National Quality Award - Silver Award. This is the first silver medal product in the national steam turbine industry, establishing the company's leading position in the industry of steam turbine products.

Expand the scale of the enterprise and establish Qingdao Jieneng Power Group Co., Ltd. Taking Qingdao Steam Turbine Factory as the main body, it merged with Qingdao Internal Combustion Engine Factory, Qingdao Model Factory, Qingdao Tough Iron Factory, etc.

We implemented the transformation of state-owned enterprises into joint-stock companies and established Qingdao Jieneng Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. State owned capital controls the majority of shares, while natural persons and social legal entities participate in the operation.

Implement the overall withdrawal of state-owned capital and restructure it into a privately-owned joint-stock company. The enterprise has entered a stage of rapid development, with sales revenue doubling continuously.

Expansion of production scale and relocation, with the construction of industrial parks in Huangdao and Jiaozhou respectively.
